I earned my bachelor's degree in Communications from Wake Forest University and completed post graduate programs through the RMA-ECU Commercial Lending School, SC Bankers School and Leadership Grand Strand. My banking career spans 15 years and all of that time has been spent in the Commercial & Business Banking space. I am fortunate to have been with First Citizens for over 13 years and can't imagine working anywhere else. My specific focus has been working with Medical, Heavy Equipment and Commercial clients that are in the growth phase of their business cycle.
My spouse, Amanda, and I are lifetime residents of the Conway Area and have been married for 19 years. We love the South Carolina coast and are the proud parents of a teenage daughter and twin boys, all of which are very active in a number of different sports.
I am passionate about helping our community prosper and enjoy spending my spare time playing golf and coaching youth athletics in our area. I am currently serving my 3rd term on the Board of Directors of the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation, which helps attract new businesses to Horry County. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Conway Medical Center Foundation, which helps raise funds to support the medical needs in the underserved areas of our community. I am a past President and Board Member of the historic Dunes Golf & Beach Club. My family and I are active members of First United Methodist Church in Conway and I serve on the Finance Committee. What free time we do have now is spent traveling to watch our kids play travel baseball and tennis, which involves a significant amount of time away from home, but allows us to spend a lot of time together as a family.
